Dear Parish Family,
If you have ever picked up a styrofoam cup of coffee in the narthex after the 10 AM Mass, eaten a sandwich at a funeral reception, or carried home a covered dish on the night of a parishioner's surgery - you have been on the receiving end of one of the quietest ministries in the parish.
Our Hospitality Committee has, by my last count, fourteen regulars and a much longer list of folks who pitch in when called. They do not ask for credit, and they almost never get any. So today, on behalf of every visitor who has felt welcomed and every grieving family that has been fed, I would like to say it out loud: thank you.
If you have ever thought about helping but were not sure how, this is your invitation. The work is genuinely easy, the company is excellent, and the only requirement is a willingness to show up. Email the parish office, or grab me after Mass, and I will happily put you in touch.
God bless,
Fr. Louis
